Summer 2026 Reference Closure / Fermeture du service de référence – été 2026

91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Archives reference services will be paused over the summer period from June 1-September 7, 2026, reopening on September 8, 2026. Please note that email research requests made during the pause in services will not be placed into a queue and answered in September. Researchers who wish to schedule research visits to access archival materials during the summer are invited to book their research visits prior to June 1, 2026. We thank you for your understanding.

91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Classification Plan

The 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Classification Plan allows for the classification, filing and identification of documents produced or received by the University.

Details

The implementation of the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Classification Plan in a unit takes place upon the request of the unit at the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Archives. After analyzing and identifying the records management needs of a unit, the implementation of recommendations may include the following steps: weeding of the active documents, personnel training, records inventory and temporary identification of classification codes, validation and other technical operations (physical folders labelling and reorganization of physical records, etc.). The 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Archives will customize the Classification Plan to the unit’s needs and provide ongoing support.

91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Record Retention Schedule

The principal tool of the records management program isMURRS, a compilation of rules guiding when and if records can be destroyed.
