A small number of 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ faculty members need the option to borrow a large number items to conduct their research and teaching activities. However, as per PBUQ agreement, users can only borrow 100 items at a time.

To address the needs of 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ faculty members who need the option to borrow more than 100 items to conduct their research and teaching activities, faculty members can now request a second borrowing card, known as a Faculty Research Card.

This extra Faculty Research Card will allow faculty members to borrow 100 items in addition to the 100 they can borrow on their regular 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ card. The same rules concerning fines, loan periods, and automatic renewals will apply on both cards.

Please note that Network Loan items cannot be requested using a Faculty Research Card. To borrow items via Network Loan, use your regular 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ borrowing account.

Please note that your regular 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ borrowing account and your 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Libraries Borrowing card are two separate accounts that are not connected to one another.

Your 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Libraries Borrowing card account will have a different password from your regular 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ account. You will be sent a link to set the password for your 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Libraries Borrowing card after you submit your application for the card.

When signing in to your 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Libraries Borrowing card account:

Sign in to your : select "Login with a barcode". Use the barcode on your 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Libraries Borrowing Card (begins with 290), and the password you selected during the registration process.
