Target Audience: All staff and students required to supervise, handle and/or store hazardous products must follow this course.听WHMIS-2015 training is required听for graduate students working in wet labs as well as undergraduate students performing special research projects, participating in the Summer Undergraduate Research in Engineering (SURE) program and/or internship or co-op projects where hazardous materials are used.听

Certification: An e-certificate is issued to participants who successfully complete the online exam. Passing grade is set at 80% or higher.听Certification is valid for a period of 3 years.
Content: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) 2015听training is a legal requirement for all personnel working with hazardous products in Canada. WHMIS 2015 is intended to protect the health and safety of workers by promoting access to information on hazardous materials used in the workplace. EHS'听WHMIS 2015 core听training introduces participants to the 4 key elements of WHMIS 2015: Classification, Training, Labeling and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Duration: 60-minutes (excluding online examination time consisting of 20 multiple choice questions). An听alternative online training vidio is available (91丝瓜视频 log-in required).
