Applying to the MMF program

Prospective students are eligible to apply to the MMF programme if they hold a bachelor’s degree and demonstrate both quantitative and qualitative skills needed to succeed.

Applicants may submit an application during the final year of their bachelor’s degree studies; however, admission will be conditional upon degree completion before the start of the programme. Students with a three-year bachelor’s degree from an international university are also eligible. Our programme is open to candidates with and without prior work experience.

Application deadlines

Applications to the MMF Luxembourg Part-time (blended delivery) for Fall 2026 are open.

Application requirements

Undergraduate degree and additional academic qualifications

• Upload a complete record of study from each university-level institution attended to date.
• Transcripts must include all courses and grades for each year attended.
• For universities that do not have a stated graduation year on transcripts, please upload both the diploma and transcripts.
• 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ transcripts do not need to be uploaded.
• Transcripts in a language other than English or French require a certified English or French translation.
• Admitted applicants must provide signed and sealed official transcripts from all schools attended.
• After the decision deadline, admitted students will receive instructions on how to submit their transcripts via mail.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Please prepare a CV that includes:

• Your employment history, if any, in reverse chronological order.Indicate your title, dates of employment, and whether you worked part-time or full-time, or as an intern.
• Your educational record in reverse chronological order, including dates of attendance and degrees earned.
• We welcome and encourage the submission of any other relevant information.
• Your CV should be no more than one page.

Graduate Management 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

The GMAT requirement may be waived for MMF Luxembourg if you can demonstrate strong quantitative skills through your academic background from a recognized university and/or work experience. Submitting a GMAT score can strengthen your application and enhance your overall profile.

When registering for a test, please request that the results be sent directly to 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ:

Please note that it can take between 10-20 business days for your GMAT/GRE scores to appear in your applicant portal, once submitted. If you do not see the test scores by then, please use the inbox/chat function on your applicant portal.

English proficiency tests: TOEFL and IELTS

If English is not your native language and you haven't completed a degree at an English-speaking country, you must take either the TOEFL or IELTS.

• Only tests taken at authorized test centres are accepted; at-home tests are not valid.
• If you've earned a degree in a non-English speaking country but studied in English, you may be exempt. Check 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ's English Language Proficiency requirements for other exemptions.
• When registering for a test, send your results electronically to 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ: TOEFL Institution Code: 0935.
• For IELTS, use the IELTS Results Service with 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ's address: Name: 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ, Address: 688 Sherbrooke St. W, Suite 760. Montreal QC, H3A 0B8 Canada
• Note that you can't upload your results, and paper copies won't be accepted.
• IELTS processing time is 14-30 business days, while TOEFL processing time is 10-20 business days.
• If you don't see your test scores within this timeframe, contact us via the inbox/chat function on your applicant portal.

Letters of reference

Candidates must provide two letters of reference from individuals who have been directly responsible for evaluating their performance and potential. On the application form, you must provide the names and email addresses of two referees who can evaluate your abilities. You may send this recommendation form to referees for completion, or referees may choose to write their own recommendation letters. Once your application has been submitted, 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ will contact these referees directly and ask them to upload their references.

Note: Referees may upload a reference letter as a PDF or Word document. It is the candidate's responsibility to ensure that referees submit their recommendations in a timely manner.

Application fee

A non-refundable fee of Can$139.63 must accompany each application. Applications cannot be submitted without this fee. This sum must be paid by credit card.

Apply to the MMF program

We strongly recommend you read through the application requirements before starting your application.

Step 1: Submitting your application on the Graduate Admission System (Summer Admission)

Application fee: Can $139.63 (non-refundable), payable by credit card . Please ensure you select the Fall term.

After your application has been received, an email will be sent to you with your 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ ID number.

Step 2: Uploading supporting documents

All supporting documents must be uploaded in PDF format directly to the Graduate Admission System. Read the following information and instructions on how to upload supporting documents:

Next steps

Admission to the programme is competitive and based on a number of requirements. Your application will receive careful consideration. Because we process applications as on a rolling basis, we strongly encourage prospective students to submit their applications as early as possible.

Interview

After a preliminary review of your file, you may be invited for an interview. Interviews are primarily conducted virtually. We would like to highlight the importance of the interview process: it not only helps the admissions committee to better understand your background and objectives, but it is also an important opportunity for you to ask questions and confirm that the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ MMF Luxembourg programme aligns with your needs and goals. Following the interview, your file will be evaluated by the Master’s 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Committee.

Admitted candidates

Candidates accepted by the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Committee will have a defined amount of time to accept the offer and secure a place in the MMF programme. To accept , log onto the Graduate Admission System and pay a non-refundable deposit of Can$5,000. Deferred admission

Deferring admission for one year may be considered in exceptional cases upon evidence of extenuating circumstances. A written request should be submitted to mmfluxembourg [at] mcgill.ca (subject: MMF%20Luxembourg%2091Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ) . If approved, students wishing to defer their admission will be required to submit a non-refundable confirmation deposit to secure their place for the following year.
