91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ World Restart a Heart 2024 Campaign

World Restart a Heart (WRAH) is a global initiative that aims to increase public awareness and rates of bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). During the academic year, members of the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) will lead the WRAH 2024-2025 campaign on campus.

This student-led interprofessional initiative will bringÌýtogether students, residents, faculty members, health care professionals, and administration from the FMHS, the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning (SCSIL) and the 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Health Centre (MUHC).

After three years of restrictions and social distancing due to COVID-19, the team is working hard to create an engaging and informative series of live events, our usual CPR booth, and fun classes along with a high-impact social media campaign through partnerships with special WRAH ambassadors.

The goal is to educate communities across Canada about the importance of bystander CPR and to enhance CPR knowledge and skills... and ultimately, to reduce the number of cardiac arrest deaths.
