Site Sponsors are typically the head of a unit聽e.g., Dean, Chair, Director, Senior Manager, or someone specially聽delegated to take on this听谤辞濒别.

They are authorized to request Site Manager or Site Editor access on聽behalf of other persons聽to WMS sites that are under their purview.聽They may also request for a site to be created or deleted - these two things cannot be done without their express permission.

While they are the ultimate authority for WMS Sites, they may have to little聽to no interaction with the sites themselves. If they wish to have access, they must first be assigned the Site Reviewer听谤辞濒别.
