Senate Steering Committee
Following a call for nominations, an election was held from July 13 to July 20, 2026, to fill one (1) Elected Member of Senate seat, nominated and elected by all members of Senate, other than student members, on the Senate Steering Committee. Of an electorate of 90 senators, 35 votes were cast.
The results are as follows:
- Raj Duggavathi - 19 votes
- Rustum Choksi听- 16 votes
Raj Duggavathi, Associate Professor, Department of Animal Science,听Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences,听was elected to serve on the Senate Steering Committee for a three-year term, effective September 1, 2026.

Senate Representative on the Board of Governors
Following a call for nominations, an election was held from July 6 to July 13, 2026, to fill one (1) Elected Member of Senate seat on the Board of Governors. Of an electorate of 109 senators, 50 votes were cast.
The results are as follows:
- Eran Shor 鈥� 26 votes
- Petra Rohrbach 鈥� 24 votes
Eran Shor, Professor, Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts, was elected to serve on the Board of Governors for a three-year term ending June 30, 2029.
