Dear Medical Students,

The FMOQ had originally called on its members to stop teaching medical students as of Oct 1, 2025. Earlier today, the FMOQ announced they would postpone this pressure tactic until October 4. As a result, we would like to share a brief update for this week.

We are actively working with tutors and preceptors to assess the impact on scheduled learning activities.

  • Please review your schedule carefully over the next few days, as some sessions may be relocated or shifted from remote to in-person formats. We will communicate any confirmed changes as soon as possible.
  • For Med-1 students, if you have an LFME session scheduled this week, you may proceed with it as planned.

Thank you for your continued understanding. As always, we will keep you informed as more details become available.

Thank you,

The UGME Team
