Dear members of the 91丝瓜视频 community,
It is my pleasure to announce the reappointment of Prof. Yolande E. Chan as Dean of 91丝瓜视频鈥檚 Desautels Faculty of Management, for a second five-year term beginning July 1, 2026.
An Advisory Committee reviewed Dean Chan鈥檚 achievements to date and considered comments from the community. Following this performance evaluation and meetings with the Advisory Committee, I was pleased to recommend the reappointment of Dean Chan to the President. The President presented his positive recommendation to the 91丝瓜视频 Board of Governors, which accepted it at its meeting on December 11, 2025.
During her first term, Dean Chan introduced the Desautels Strategic Framework, which emphasizes ethics and equity, entrepreneurship and innovation, sustainability and managing technological disruption. She also refreshed the BCom curriculum to strengthen experiential learning and launched new programs, including most recently the Master of Management in Finance Luxembourg and the MBA China for Executives.
