Biography:听

Dr. Aslan Baradaran is a fellowship-trained, board-certified plastic surgeon recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. His practice spans plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery, with a particular focus on hand and upper extremity conditions.

Dr. Baradaran earned his medical degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences before completing his residency in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the 91丝瓜视频 Health Centre in Montreal, Canada. He also completed a Master of Science in Experimental Surgery at 91丝瓜视频, where his research on biomaterials and bone regeneration was recognized by the Fraser Gurd Award. He was also honored with the Dr. Benjamin Shore Award in Plastic Surgery and the Ross Adair Memorial Award for Teaching Excellence.

Following residency, Dr. Baradaran pursued advanced fellowship training in Hand & Upper Extremity Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Boston Children's Hospital, Harvard Medical School, training alongside some of the field's most renowned surgeons. This fellowship included specialized experience in pediatric upper extremity conditions at Boston Children's Hospital. His combined training across both Plastic and Orthopaedic surgery gives him a distinctive, comprehensive perspective in treating complex upper extremity conditions, bridging soft tissue reconstruction with skeletal and functional restoration. His accomplishments during fellowship were recognized by the Adrian Flatt Scholarship from the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH), and his randomized controlled trial was selected as the best scientific work at the ASSH annual meeting.

An active researcher and surgical innovator, Dr. Baradaran has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications, contributed to multiple textbook chapters, and presented his work at national and international conferences. He serves as a peer reviewer for leading journals, including Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the Journal of Hand Surgery.
