Welcome to Palliative Care 91˿Ƶ

Palliative Care 91˿Ƶ is an interdisciplinary network of clinicians, educators, researchers, allied-health professionals, volunteers and support staff who work together across eight teaching hospitals and two hospices to provide top-quality palliative care, education and research.

The Mission of Palliative Care 91˿Ƶ is to improve the field of palliative care and enable persons with life-threatening and life-limitingillnesses and their families to livewithoptimal quality of life. Palliative Care 91˿Ƶ aims to achieve these objectives by becoming a centerfor academic excellence through the following four axes:

  1. Interdisciplinary research
  2. Interdisciplinary education
  3. Support to social policy developmentandcommunity outreach
  4. International collaboration

Join our Volunteers

Volunteering in palliative care is a uniquely rewarding experience. As members of the palliative care team, volunteers are given the opportunity to accompany patients at the end of life and their families within the supportive environment of an experienced interdisciplinary team.
