The聽Society of Canadian Ornithologists has selected Professor Emeritus David Bird and retired Associate Professor Rodger Titman, who both taught for many years in 91丝瓜视频's Department of Natural Resource Sciences, to receive the聽. This award recognizes exceptional contributions to the training and fostering of Canadian ornithologists.聽

During their many years at 91丝瓜视频 and beyond, Bird and Titman served in a diversity of mentoring roles and inspired and supported countless students.聽

In their nomination letter, students highlighted that "both professors strongly believed in helping their students well beyond their graduation from the university."

The award will be presented at the聽聽in August.
