Anny Guimont holds a B.A. in Hispanic Studies from 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ. She received her M.A. in Spanish Literature at Université de Montréal. Before coming to 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ she taught at Université de Montréal and UQAM. In 1999 she joined the Department of Hispanic Studies at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ and the Department of Classics, Modern Languages and Linguistics at Concordia University. She teaches in both universities as a part time faculty member, now in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures of 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ. Her teaching interests focus on the interplay of Hispanic culture  (popular music, poetry, literature, journalism, film) and the Spanish language as well as on students’ collaborative work and writing.   

Anny Guimont has presented the results of her teaching expertise at a variety of academic conferences and workshops.
