Rotation Program (Ph.D.)

The IPN Rotation Program is a Ph.D. stream that admits a select group of candidates each Fall term. The program is open to both undergraduate and Master's students.

The objective of our Rotation program is to allow its students to start their graduate work in neuroscience by sampling several labs and supervisors. Through a series of rotations in three different labs, students get to experience diverse research fields and lab environments in order to identify their field of interest, all the while expanding their lab skills and knowledge.

Admission into our Ph.D. Rotation Program is highly competitive. Every year, we receive >60 applications to fill a maximum of 7 open positions.

Eligibility:

  • At matriculation, you must hold an undergraduate degree or graduate degree from a recognized institution.
  • For undergraduates applying to the Rotation Program, you will be entering Ph.D.1. Direct entry applicants to Ph.D.1 will require a 3.80 cumulative Grade Point Average.
  • Research experience and publication history will be taken into consideration in the eligibility review.

Please e-mail ipn.admissions [at] mcgill.ca () once you have submitted a complete application in Slate.
