Sebastien is a second-year law student at 91丝瓜视频. Before entering law school, he completed a BSW at the Universit茅 du Qu茅bec 脿 Montr茅al and an MSW at 91丝瓜视频. He has experience working on issues related to mental health, homelessness, and the criminal justice system. He currently volunteers with the Mobile Legal Clinic. His academic and professional interests include medical liability, medical ethics, and the systemic barriers that affect access to and navigation of the healthcare system.听
Taisha Cayard (CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l鈥櫭甽e, 2026)
Taisha is a second-year student in the joint BCL/JD and MSW program at 91丝瓜视频, with seven years of experience in social service roles within the healthcare system. She is dedicated to promoting access to justice and trauma-informed advocacy. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from 91丝瓜视频 and a DEC in Social Service Techniques from Dawson College. At 91丝瓜视频, Taisha serves as a Judge on the PGSS Judicial Board, Vice-President of Finance for the Women of Colour Collective, and Senior Editor at the 91丝瓜视频 Journal of Law & Health. She is also a recipient of the Jordan H. Waxman Entrance Scholarship for her sustained community involvement. Her interests lie in using law to address social determinants of health, and she aims to integrate law and social work to support vulnerable populations.
Marie Annie (CHU Sainte-Justine, 2026)
Marie Annie is a third-year BCL/JD candidate at the 91丝瓜视频 Faculty of Law. Before entering law school, she completed a DEC at Coll猫ge Andr茅-Grasset. She is actively involved in several clubs and associations at 91丝瓜视频 and is currently completing a clerkship. Her areas of interest include health law, privacy/data protection and contractual obligations in general.

Tuviere Okome (CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l鈥櫭巐e-de-Montr茅al, 2025)
Tuviere is a 2nd year BCL/JD candidate at 91丝瓜视频 Faculty of Law, where she serves as the President of the Black Law Students Association. Tuviere holds an MSc in Epidemiology from 91丝瓜视频, where she was awarded the Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship for academic excellence. She also hold a BA in Environmental Studies (First-class honors, Distinction) from 91丝瓜视频. Professionally, Tuviere has interned at the Jewish General Hospital, focusing on mental health law and patient rights, and at the HIV Legal Network, conducting research on harm reduction and drug policy. They have also worked on climate change legal research in Calabar, Nigeria, exploring how indigenous governance systems can inform future legal frameworks in the context of ecological collapse.
Shania Dalili (CHU Sainte-Justine, 2025)
Shania is a third-year law student at 91丝瓜视频. Prior to law school, she completed a DEC in Law and Civilization with Mathematics at Champlain College. She has previously been involved with the Legal Information Clinic at 91丝瓜视频 and the Women of Colour Collective. She also volunteered as a pro bono researcher with the Center for Research-Action on Race Relations, a contribution that earned her the Chief Justice Richard Wagner Award. Over the past year, she completed a clerkship at the Court of Qu茅bec (Civil Division) and represented her faculty at the Laskin Moot. She is particularly interested in medical liability and issues related to a person鈥檚 consent to healthcare.
Alycia No毛 (CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l鈥櫭巐e-de-Montr茅al, 2023)
Alycia is a second-year law student at 91丝瓜视频. Prior to law school, she obtained a PhD in Biology from 91丝瓜视频, where she studied the impacts of oxygen metabolism on mouse skeletal muscles. She is currently a senior editor for the 91丝瓜视频 Journal of Law and Health and an executive team member for the LEX Outreach Program. She also sits of the board of and helped found the Montr茅al Restaurant Workers Relief Fund. Her interests include the intersection of healthcare and the law and issues of access to medications and treatments.
Olivia Wawin (CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l鈥櫭巐e-de-Montr茅al, 2023)
Olivia Wawin is a second-year student at the 91丝瓜视频 Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, she received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Economics from 91丝瓜视频. She has previously been involved with the Legal Information Clinic at 91丝瓜视频 and is currently a junior editor with the 91丝瓜视频 Journal of Law and Health, as well as a Pro Bono Students Canada volunteer with Project Genesis. Her interests include the intersection of human rights and health law (in particular, reproductive rights, criminal justice, and equality rights).

Rania is a third-year law student at 91丝瓜视频, where she has been involved in the Legal Information Clinic at 91丝瓜视频, Lawyers Without Boarders, as well as the LEX program. Before her legal studies, she completed a DEC in Health Sciences at Coll猫ge Jean-de-Br茅beuf. Following her work experience at the F茅d茅ration des M茅decins Sp茅cialistes du Qu茅bec, she is interested in the ways healthcare and legal systems may intersect to benefit one another.
Marguerite Rolland (CHU Sainte-Justine, 2022)
Marguerite is a second-year law student at 91丝瓜视频 and holds a BA (with Great Distinction) in Linguistics and History from Concordia, as well as a DEC in Paralegal Technology from O鈥橲ullivan College. She is currently a research assistant to professor Lara Khoury, Ad. E. working on the topics of artificial intelligence, civil liability, and health. While in law school, Marguerite has had the opportunity to work in a Montreal law firm specializing in property law, in addition to the Canadian Competition Bureau. Marguerite has also volunteered with the Legal Information Clinic at 91丝瓜视频, and sits on the board of the ecological and environmental society of C么te-des-Neiges (SOCENV).

Johanna is a second-year law student at 91丝瓜视频 and holds a BA in Honours Philosophy (91丝瓜视频). Her areas of interest include access to justice, human rights and the intersection and law and health. She currently works as a Senior Editor at the 91丝瓜视频 Journal of Law and Health and volunteers at LEX 91丝瓜视频. This past summer, Johanna interned at Lawyers Without Borders in Qu茅bec City and has previously worked as a research assistant at 91丝瓜视频 on topics related to discrimination and feminist philosophy.
Osayma Saad (CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l鈥櫭巐e-de-Montr茅al, 2021)
Osayma is a second-year law student at 91丝瓜视频, and is currently doing a minor in computer science. She previously completed a DEC in sciences at John Abbott College, and has been passionate about issues revolving healthcare since she began her post-secondary studies. She is the Vice-President of Internal Affairs of the Law Students鈥� Association for the 2021-2022 term.

Kayla is a third-year law student at 91丝瓜视频, and holds a BSc and MSc in Muscle Physiology/ Kinesiology (91丝瓜视频). She is currently a Student Coordinator for the 91丝瓜视频 Research Group on Health and Law, a Legal Research Assistant at UBC working on the topic of rural access to health care, and a Tutorial Leader for a first-year course in the Faculty of Law at 91丝瓜视频. While in law school, she has also interned with the O鈥橬eill Institute for National & Global Health Law at Georgetown Law in Washington, DC, and has been involved with the 91丝瓜视频 Journal of Law and Health and the Mile End Legal Clinic.
Laura Fernz (CHU Sainte-Justine, 2021)
Laura is a second-year law student at 91丝瓜视频. She has been involved with the Legal Information Clinic at Mcgill, the LEX program, the Canadian Journal of Law and Justice, as well as the Women of Colour Collective. She is interested in issues relating to access to justice, and how the law and health intersect.
Kirstie Russell (CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l鈥櫭巐e-de-Montr茅al, 2020)
Kirstie, a third-year law student at 91丝瓜视频, is passionate about issues at the intersection of law and health. Prior to law school, she obtained a Masters in Public Health degree from the University of Toronto, where she primarily worked in quality improvement in health care from both a research and practice perspective. While in law school, Kirstie interned at the Centre for Health, Human Rights and Development in Uganda, volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and worked as a junior editor for the 91丝瓜视频 Journal of Law and Health. In her final year of law school, she is working as a caseworker at Compass Startup Legal Clinic and clerking at the Montr茅al Municipal Court.

Lauren is a third-year law student at 91丝瓜视频, having completed a B.A. in Psychology at 91丝瓜视频 in 2018. She is the Senior Managing Editor of the 91丝瓜视频 Journal of Law and Health and the Director of Client Services for Compass Startup Legal Clinic.
Linda Zhang (CHU Sainte-Justine, 2020)
Linda is a third-year law student at 91丝瓜视频, with a minor in management. She is passionate about issues surrounding access to care and has been involved with the 91丝瓜视频 Journal of Law and Health, the Hive Center for Gender Advocacy, and the Conseil qu茅b茅cois LGBT.
Raoul Wieland (CIUSSS Centre-Ouest-de-l鈥櫭巐e-de-Montr茅al, 2020)
Raoul is in his last year of the M.S.W. and B.C.L./J.D. program at 91丝瓜视频. He is interested in learning about the impact of law in the lives of people, how people perceive law, and understanding how law intersects with health, health policy, and the equitable provision of social services.

Souhila is a second-year student at 91丝瓜视频's Faculty of Law. She holds a B.Sc with distinction in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from Concordia University. She is involved with the 91丝瓜视频 Journal of Law and Health, the 91丝瓜视频 Business Law Association, the Women of Colour Collective and #LNFB. Since joining the Faculty, she has been able to expand her interests in policy, health, science and the law, and the important contributions women make to these fields and their intersections.

Before starting law school, Hannah spent nine months in Colombia, where she worked as an intern with Transparency International and conducted research on truth and reconciliation commissions at the International Center for Transitional Justice.听

Avant d'茅tudier 脿 91丝瓜视频, elle a travaill茅 pendant trois ans en tant que charg茅e de dossier pour Enfant-Retour Qu茅bec notamment dans des dossiers de fugues et d'enl猫vements parentaux. Elle s'int茅resse particuli猫rement 脿 l'impact du droit sur les groupes vuln茅rables et marginalis茅s.
Elle est titulaire d'une ma卯trise de Droit international et droits humains de l'Universit茅 pour la paix des nations unies (Costa Rica), puis d'une Ma卯trise en sociologie de l'脡cole des Hautes 脡tudes en Sciences Sociale (France); son m茅moire de recherche s'est fond茅 sur une 茅tude de terrain de la jeunesse urbaine de Kaboul au sein de UN-Habitat en Afghanistan.

Elle a entrepris ce stage avec Me Nathalie Lecoq au CHU Ste-Justine en janvier 2014.
Alexandra Olshefsky (Douglas Mental Health University Institute, 2013-2014)
Alexandra was in her third year of Law when she participated in this internship. She is particularly interested in the impact the criminal justice system has on marginalized communities. She also completed a human rights internship with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada, and clerked under Justice Bri猫re, who sits on the Municipal Court's programme d'accompagnement justice-sant茅 mentale.
A former crisis intervention worker, she also participated in a legal clinic course with Dans la Rue.
Her internship at the Douglas was completed under the supervision of Dr Anne Crocker.
