D2R is committed to fostering the attraction, retention,听progression and flourishing of members of听equity deserving groups ingenomic based RNA research.听To increase听equitable听representation, D2R created听in partnership听a Summer Internship Program for Black Undergraduate Students.听This鈥�15-week鈥痯aid internship offers the opportunity to students to gain research lab experience鈥痮n bold听cutting-edge听projects鈥痷nder the supervision of professors and research staff affiliated with D2R.听Come and听discover our听interns听and their amazing work听to learn and encourage them into going towards graduate studies!听

- Anti-Black Racism in Health Research:听In honour of Black History Month, this session explores the history of slavery in Canada, traces the evolution of anti-Black racism within Canadian health research, and highlights practices and strategies to address and counter these challenges.
- Mental Health in Highly Performant Environments: In honour of the International Day for Persons with Disabilities, D2R is partnering with the Quebec Interuniversity Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Network to host this workshop.
- The future of genomic medicine and its implications for RNA therapies:听Organized by D2R and AReNa, this symposium at the 92nd Acfas Congress, explored three topics within the field of RNA therapies: collaboration, ethics and equity, and data science. - Opportunities and challenges of the 2SLGBTQIA+ Community in RNA Research:听During this D2R Pride Month webinar, 91丝瓜视频 speakers including Amirah-Iman Hicks, Raquel Cuella Martin and Benjamin Kaufman talked about their experiences and the importance of RNA research that is equitable and inclusive towards the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
- Opportunities and challenges of Black people in RNA research: In this Black History Month webinar, researchers from 91丝瓜视频 and D2R鈥檚 Senior EDI Advisor discussed the importance of Black people in RNA therapeutics, highlighting their role in research practices and research design.
