Vanessa Tardio
Dr. Vanessa Tardio completed a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition at 91丝瓜视频, followed by a medical degree from Laval University in Quebec City. She then completed residency training in internal medicine at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire de Qu茅bec, followed by a fellowship in adult endocrinology at the 91丝瓜视频 Health Centre. She also pursued additional clinical and research training in Quebec City on the metabolic effects of bariatric surgery with Dr. Claudia Gagnon. She joined the attending staff of the MUHC Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism and 91丝瓜视频's Department of Medicine as an Assistant Professor in July 2017.
She currently serves as Co-Director of the 91丝瓜视频 Endocrinology and Metabolism Residency Training Program, having previously served as sole Program Director. She has received Teacher of the Year awards in 2019 and 2023 and has developed numerous innovations for the training program, including simulation modules, a research curriculum, and orientation resources.
