Dr. Kevin Schwartzman obtained his AB in History and Science from Harvard College, followed by his MD and then residency training in internal medicine and respiratory medicine at 91丝瓜视频.聽 He then obtained his MPH 聽in Quantitative Methods at the Harvard School of Public Health, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in tuberculosis epidemiology at 91丝瓜视频. He then held Chercheur-Boursier Clinicien scholarships聽 from the FRQS.聽 Dr. Schwartzman previously served as 91丝瓜视频 residency program director for Adult Respirology (2008-2013) and 91丝瓜视频 and MUHC Respiratory Division director (2014-2023).聽 聽Since 2023 he has been Associate Chair for Research in the Department of Medicine.聽 He also chairs one of the four provincial worker compensation committees for respiratory diseases in Qu茅bec.聽

As a Senior Scientist at the Research Institute of the MUHC (at the Respiratory Epidemiology and Clinical Research Unit, within the Centre for Outcomes Research and Evaluation--CORE), Dr. Schwartzman's research involves the evaluation of interventions addressing the prevention and treatment of tuberculosis.聽 He focuses on cost-effectiveness using decision analysis modeling, and also conducts evidence syntheses.
