Danuta Radzioch is a researcher focused on the molecular regulation of inflammation in asthma, cystic fibrosis, and cancer. Her work combines preclinical studies and advanced disease models to develop and test novel anti-inflammatory therapies.

Her team has identified mechanisms to correct fatty acid metabolism disruptions in chronic inflammatory conditions and has developed specialized mouse models for cystic fibrosis, allergic asthma, and colon cancer. She also studies how chromatin remodelling and gene regulation influence inflammatory responses.

Her research has led to promising therapeutic approaches, including a drug that has received orphan designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and is advancing toward a Phase 1b clinical trial for cystic fibrosis.
