Tonino Esposito

Tonino EspositoTonino Esposito, MSW, Ph.D. is a Full Professor at the Université de Montréal, Adjunct Professor at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµâ€™s School of Social Work, and Scientific Director of the Institut universitaire Jeunes en difficulté. He is also a research member of 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµâ€™s Centre for Research on Children and Families and the Canadian Consortium on Child & Youth Trauma, board member of the Child Welfare League of Canada, and Associate Editor of Child Abuse & Neglect. His work is focused on better understanding the broader systemic, socioeconomic, and neighbourhood factors that keep children chronically involved in child welfare and negatively impact parental capacity. Many of his research projects consider the long-term service trajectories and outcomes of children involved with child welfare, as well as the influences of social spending, socioeconomic vulnerabilities, and neighbourhood-level services on children and families.
