Jill Baumgartner, Inaugural Director

Jill BaumgartnerProf Baumgartner is a Professor and William Dawson Scholar in the Departments of Epidemiology, Biostatistics & Occupational Health and Equity, Ethics and Policy at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ. Her research investigates the links between the climate change, environment, and health, with specific interest in solid fuel air pollution and environmental policy evaluation. Through interdisciplinary and global collaborations, her group has conducted environmental monitoring and epidemiological studies throughout the world. Her research has been covered by major media outlets including the New York Times, NPR, CBC, and The Guardian, and has served on multiple advisory committees for the World Health Organization, Health Effects Institute, and Project Drawdown.
