Understanding how economic growth occurs鈥攁nd how societies can sustain it鈥攈as been central to the work of Canadian economist and 2025 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences laureate Peter Howitt, who will deliver the 2026 Beatty Lecture at 91丝瓜视频 on October 22 during the University鈥檚 annual Homecoming festivities. Nahlah Ayed, host of CBC鈥檚 national radio program Ideas, will moderate the event.
