The Universal Declaration of Human Rights: 60 Years Later
To mark the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Universal
Declaration of Human Rights the Association for Canadian Studies in
collaboration with the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation and The
John Humphrey Center for Peace and Human Rights will be holding a
major conference which will take place on December 9, 2008 at
91丝瓜视频 in Montreal.聽聽
The event is designed to provide for a national conversation on
human rights and feature presentations by leading Canada and
international academics, jurists, former and current legislators
and representatives of various non-governmental organizations.
Registered delegates are also invited to attend a special event on the work and accomplishments of the late Senator Jacques H茅bert to be held December 8th at 91丝瓜视频 University as well.
