Mtre Riffard will discuss recent reforms to the law of security on property in France, contrasting them with recent initiatives - the UNCITRAL Legislative Guide and the European Union's Draft Common Frame of Reference. He will assess how and why these reforms have fallen short of the hopes of both French and international practionners.
