Canadian Physiotherapy Association's Centenary Medals of Distinction
Dr. Joyce Fung and Dr. Dorothy Thomas-Edding have been awarded a medal of distinction to celebrate 100th anniversary of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. The Canadian Physiotherapy Association's Centenary Medals of Distinction have听been created to mark the Association's Centenary. The medal serves to recognize 100+ individuals who have impacted physiotherapy from 1920 to 2020. These medals were presented and the recipients recognized at the CPA's Congress 2021.

Aliki Thomas, PhD awarded 2021 Certificate of Merit

Aliki Thomas, erg., PhD has been awarded the 2021 CAME Certificate of Merit Award. Dr. Thomas is an Associate Professor in the Occupational Therapy Program at SPOT. The objectives of the Canadian Association of Medical Education are to promote, recognize and reward faculty committed to medical education in Canada. Aliki will be honoured at an upcoming CAME Conference on Medical Education.

Marie Brossard-Racine, erg., PhD has been awarded a five-year CIHR CRC Tier 2: Canada Research Chair in Brain and Child Development as part of the 2019-2 (Fall 2020) competition! Zachary Boychuck, erg., PhD听 Faculty Lecturer in the OT Program at SPOT, was recently awarded a 91丝瓜视频 MedStar Award by 91丝瓜视频鈥檚 Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences for his publication, "International expert recommendations of clinical features to prompt referral for diagnostic assessment of cerebral palsy," in Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology. The publication also features several SPOT co-authors from the PROMPT group.
