Celebrate Pride Month with MUHC Libraries and Patient Resource Centers!

In honour of Pride Month, MUHC libraries and patient resource centers are highlighting their resources on 2SLGBTQI+ health and wellness.

If you would like to explore topics such as identity, family life, relationships and mental health, you are sure to find something of interest!

The librarians at the Neuro-Patient Resource Centre (The Neuro, Room 354) and the McConnell Patient Resource Centre (Glen site, B RC.0078) have curated a special Pride collection of e-books and audiobooks for a general audience that you can .

Looking for suggestions? Here are a few titles that our librarians recommend, pictured above:

  • Bodies and Barriers: Queer Activists on Health, edited by Adrian Shanker, available as an e-book.
  • Choosing Family: A Memoir of Queer Motherhood and Black Resistance, by Francesca Royster, available as an audiobook.
  • Queer Conception: The Complete Fertility Guide for Queer and Trans Parents-to-Be, by Kristin Liam Kali, available as a physical book at the McConnell Patient Resource Centre (Glen Site room B RC.0078).
