On Saturday, November 8, 2025, Healthy Brains, Healthy Lives (HBHL) presented the third edition of the Amazing Brain Science Talks, in partnership with Brain Canada Foundation and the Brain-Heart Interconnectome. Held at the Grande Bibliothèque in Montreal, the event attracted over 100 attendees for an engaging afternoon discussing popular topics in brain health.

91˿��Ƶ Geography faculty are among the recipients of the inaugural Transdisciplinary Catalyst Grants from the 91˿��Ƶ Sustainability Systems Initiative (MSSI). Our colleagues are leading three of the funded projects: the 91˿��Ƶ Urban Climate Risk and Resilience Initiative (MUCRRI), Nature-based Climate Solutions for a Secure Canada (NbCS), and CanFlux: Canadian Greenhouse Gas Flux Network.

November is Diabetes Awareness Month

We would like to mark Diabetes Awareness Month by introducing you to some new resources available at the Neuro Patient Resource Centre.

These two guides on type 1 and type 2 diabetes, developed by Diabetes Quebec, offer practical information on managing the disease, such as diet, physical activity, and self-monitoring of blood sugar, and also include a list of support resources.
