ICT economics aims to analyze economic effects of producing and using ICT products and services\, and e xamine the relationship between ICT and economic performance.\n\nThis talk will introduce the concept of ICT economics and explore Dr. Oh’s study wh ich estimates economic effects and CO2 emissions reduction related to usin g TTPR services in the banking sector. The findings of this study demonstr ate that adopting TTPR is a very feasible solution to promote the secure u sage of electronic documents\, achieve competitive advantages\, increase e conomic net profits\, and save costs economically and environmentally.\n\n Bio\n\nWankeun Oh is a Professor of Economics Department at the Hankuk Uni versity of Foreign Studies\, South Korea and a Visiting Professor at the S chool of Information Studies\, 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ. He has a PhD in Economic s from Texas A&M University in the United States. His research areas inclu de ICT Economics\, Energy and Environmental Economics and Macroeconometric s.
