 ages apériodiques sont un grand domaine scientifique\, tant en mathématiqu
 es que dans la compréhension de la structure cristalline de la matière. Le
 s pavages apériodiques proposés par Penrose en 1974 utilisent deux formes 
 de tuiles\, et le ratio de fréquence des deux types de tuiles est égal au 
 nombre d'or. Plusieurs pavages apériodiques découverts depuis comme les pa
 vages d'Ammann (1980's) ou les pavages de Jeandel-Rao (2015) sont aussi as
 sociés au nombre d'or. Et le nombre d’or apparait encore pour la monotuile
  apériodique nommée « chapeau » découverte en 2023. Dans cet exposé nous e
 xplorerons des pavages apériodiques et le rôle du nombre d'or dans ces pav
 ages.  Des pièces polygonales découpées au laser seront disponibles pendan
 t l'exposé permettant d’expérimenter et de s’approprier les concepts. \n	\n
 	Biographie: Originally from Lac-Mégantic\, Sébastien Labbé has been a CNRS
  research fellow at the Bordeaux Computer Science Research Laboratory at t
 he University of Bordeaux since January 2017\, following postdoctoral stud
 ies at the University Paris-Diderot Paris 7 and the University of Liège (B
 elgium). Sébastien Labbé obtained his doctorate in 2012 in mathematics and
  computer science as part of a joint supervision program between UQAM and 
 the University of Montpellier.\n\n\n	Sébastien Labbé is interested in the i
 nteractions between combinatorics\, discrete geometry\, symbolic dynamics\
 , and number theory. His most recent results concern Jeandel-Rao aperiodic
  tilings and new aperiodic tilings associated with metallic numbers. He ha
 s been involved in the development of the free mathematics software SageMa
 th since 2008\, which he uses daily in his research. In addition to his re
 search activities\, Sébastien Labbé gives lectures and workshops in colleg
 es. \n\nSalle 1140\, Pavillon André-Aisenstadt\, Université de Montréal\n
