Join 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Palliative Care and Pallium Canada on March 18, 2026 for the Sheila Kussner Hope & Cope Lecture, "Medical Assitance in Dying in Quebec: Is it Truly an Informed Choice?" delivered by Pierre Deschamps, Member of the Quebec Human Rights Tribunal and the End-of-Life Care Commission of Quebec. This lecture is part of 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Palliative Care's National Grand Rounds series.Ìý

Learning Objectives

  • Describe the legal and regulatory framework governing Medical Aid in Dying (MAID) in Quebec
  • Identify the underlying factors that drive MAID requests and shape clinical MAID practices
  • Appraise the full spectrum of care options available in the context of MAID
