The “soft launch” was attended by Irene Sarasua, Associate Professor and a key member of the core planning team, as well as Annie Chevrier, Associate Director – Graduate Programs, Innovation and Accreditation. “There was such energy in the room as the team prepared to welcome its first patients. Heartiest congratulations to the project team (pictured above) who worked tirelessly over a period of three years to bring this clinic to fruition. In particular, we wish to thank Irene Sarasua, former Nurse Practitioner Program Director at the ISoN, who guided this project with expertise and unwavering commitment, NP Program Director Shannon McNamara, and ISoN Associate Director Annie Chevrier whose steady leadership will continue to be an asset as the project takes shape. We also extend our appreciation to faculty members Carolyn Brown and Greg Sobieraj as well as research assistant /PhD student Michèle Desmarais, whose contributions supported the successful development of this initiative. A huge thank you to the Doggone Foundation, whose generosity has been instrumental in making the vision for this clinic a reality.
