Faculty of Science announces appointment of four department chairs

The Faculty of Science is pleased to announce the appointment of four department chairs, who began their terms on June 1. 

The three new chairs are Prof. Yi Huang (Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences), Prof. Laura Nilson (Department of Biology), and Prof. Brigitte Pientka (School of Computer Science).

In Canada, roughly two in three adults age 65 or older . While often necessary, complex drug regimens can increase the risk of side effects and affect quality of life.

June is Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month

To mark Myasthenia Gravis Awareness Month, we are pleased to present a new educational brochure on myasthenia gravis for newly diagnosed individuals and their loved ones.

The idea for this resource arose from a discussion between a patient with myasthenia gravis and Maxime Grenier, a master’s student in physical therapy at 91˿Ƶ, during which Maxime noted a lack of resources and support for people living with this condition.
