The REDCap system (Administration & Research) has been temporarily shut down following the identification of critical vulnerabilities by the vendor.

To ensure the security of our environment and protect our users’ data, we have shut down our REDCap system while we review and perform the necessary upgrades.

This precautionary measure was taken to protect data and system integrity. Our teams are working with the vendor to address the issue and restore service as quickly and safely as possible.

Last week, nine members of the Geography Department (students and faculty) attended the 9th Conference on Spatial Knowledge and Information Canada () in Banff, Alberta. The conferencebrings together researchers of geographic information science (and systems), spatial data science, and related disciplines who live and work in Canada. The conference was a blast and everyone is looking forward to SKI 2028.
