Wi-Fi network: Action required to renew certificates for Windows, iOS and MacOS devices

On the morning of Thursday, April 2nd, IT Services will renew the security certificate that secures authentication to 91˿Ƶ's wpa.mcgill.ca, eduroam, cusm-muhc.mcgill.ca, and wpa.bus.mcgill.ca Wi-Fi networks.

This certificate allows you to sign on to the Wi-Fi network securely.

Some Android and Windows devices, as well as all iOS/MacOS devices will display a message prompting users to accept the new certificate.

If you receive that message, please follow the instructions below:

She outlined three central issues before the Court: whether there are limits to the use of the notwithstanding clause, how minority language rights under Section 23 of the Charter intersect with the law, and whether other constitutional provisions could reinforce Charter protections.

Researchers warn of risks posed by ‘contaminants of emerging concern’ found in crops, agricultural soil

A new international study offers insights into the health risks posed by crops’ absorption of “contaminants of emerging concern” (CECs) and flags knowledge gaps the authors say must be addressed.

CECs include pharmaceuticals, microplastics, engineered nanomaterials and PFAS (commonly known as “forever chemicals”). The researchers warn that even when present at very low concentrations, these chemicals can subtly alter plant physiology, disrupt soil health and pose wider environmental and human health risks.
