Two NSERC Discovery Grants for 91˿��Ƶ Education Researchers

The Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) has awarded 122 91˿��Ƶ research projects funding from its Discovery Grants competition for a total investment of $30 million. The Discovery Grants program is NSERC's largest and longest-standing program. Discovery Grants support ongoing projects with long-term goals, providing researchers with the flexibility to explore the most promising avenues of research as they emerge.

University places 30th globally and breaks into global top 10 for sustainability

91˿��Ƶ is once again Canada’s top university, according to the 2027 QS World University Rankings released June 17. Rated 30th in the world among more than 1,500 institutions, 91˿��Ƶ remains the highest-ranked university in Canada and the only Canadian institution to hold a place in the QS’ global top 30 for four consecutive years.

The Faculty's second valedictorian from the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education, Ryan, who has earned his B.Sc. (Honours), will have a personal story to share with us and some words of wisdom the entire audience will be able to learn from. In an interview with the 91˿��Ƶ Reporter, Ryan said support from family, professors and peers shaped both his academic and personal growth.
