MI4 Supports Education | 2026 Summer Institutes in Infectious Diseases

This year, MI4 is proud to support six courses offered through the 2026 Summer Institutes in Infectious Diseases and Global Health:

  1. “Nutrition and Tuberculosis”, led by Anurag Bhargava (Online, May 25-28, 2026)
  2. “Qualitative Methods in Global Infectious Diseases Research”, led by Amrita Daftary (Online, May 25-29, 2026)
  3. “Innovations in Immunizations: Epidemiology, Effectiveness, and Equity”, led by Nicole Basta (Online, May 26-29, 2026)
  4. “Global Point-of-Care Diagnostics: Ideation, Implementation & Impact”, led by Nitika Pai and Trevor Peter (Online, June 2-3, 2026)
  5. “One Health Approaches to Infectious Disease Control”, led by Jennifer Ronholm and Lucienne Tritten (Online, June 8-11, 2026)
  6. “TB Research Methods”, led by Jonathon Campbell (Hybrid, June 8-12, 2026)

Through a $20,000 donation, MI4 aims to waive course fees for participants seeking to deepen their expertise and advance their careers in these critical areas. Offered online and in hybrid formats, the six courses are designed to spark innovation in research while fostering a community committed to excellence in global health and infectious disease prevention.

To further broaden access, MI4 is hosting a raffle and will be offering five complimentary spots, each allowing the winners to enroll in one MI4‑supported course of their choice and attend virtually.
