The 2026 edition of theÌýNeurobiology of Stress WorkshopÌýwill take place in Montréal from June 16–19. This year’s Conference Chairs areÌýRosemary Bagot, PhD, Principal Investigator at the Ludmer Centre, and Claire‑Dominique Walker, PhD. This international meeting brings together leading researchers in the field of stress-related neuroscience.

The program begins with a freeÌýÌýby Cécile Rousseau, MD onÌýRethinking youth distress and violence in tense times. It will be held at Union Française de Montreal, from 5-6 p.m on June 16.ÌýDr. RousseauÌýis a professor at 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Division of Social and Cultural Psychiatry and holds a Canada Research Chair in the prevention of violent radicalization. She has worked extensively with immigrant and refugee communities, developing specific school based interventions and leading policy oriented research. Her research focuses on intervention and prevention programs to address social polarization and violent radicalization.
