  a Canadian politician\, lawyer\, businessman\, author\, and former Nation
 al Hockey League (NHL) goaltender. He is an officer of the Order of Canada
  and a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame. Dryden was a Liberal Member of P
 arliament from 2004 to 2011\, and served as a cabinet minister from 2004 t
 o 2006. In 2017\, Dryden was named one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players' i
 n history. He is the author of Scotty: A Hockey Life Like No Other (2019 M
 cClelland & Stewart)\, a biography of noted hockey coach Scotty Bowman.\n
