 t] The Centre for Intellectual Property Policy (CIPP) was founded as part 
 of 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s Faculty of Law in 2003. Its goal is to increase Mon
 treal’s attractiveness and competitiveness by facilitating intellectual pr
 operty research\, technology transfer\, commercialization and knowledge mo
 bilization. The CIPP carries out interdisciplinary research to understand 
 the role of intellectual property policies and rules in contributing to cr
 eativity and innovation. CIPP researchers broadly examine innovation syste
 ms.\n\nThe Office of Innovation is a new unit focused on building 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ’s
  innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem through supporting services and
  strategic partnerships within Canada and abroad. The team includes techno
 logy transfer managers and patent and licensing specialists\, innovation a
 ssociates\, and entrepreneurial leaders focused on partnerships and progra
 m development for students and researchers.\n
