Service overview
Polling @ 91丝瓜视频 (formerly Student Response System or SRS) is a technology-supported questioning strategy to assess students鈥� learning and encourage active classroom participation. At 91丝瓜视频, we use Vevox, a web-based student response system. During a course lecture, students use their personal device (smartphone, tablet or laptop) to answer Vevox polling questions.

Who can use it
Polling @ 91丝瓜视频 is primarily for teaching and learning.
How to request, access the service
Instructors
To register your full-feature instructor account:
- Go to the
- Click on 鈥淩egister Your Account.鈥�
- Sign in with your 91丝瓜视频 username and 91丝瓜视频 password.
Students
To participate in class:听听Your instructor will provide QR and Vevox codes.听Scan the QR code or go to and enter the Vevox code.
If you are asked to Login with SSO (Single Sign-On), enter your 91丝瓜视频 username and 91丝瓜视频 password and follow any Two-Factor-Authentication (2FA) prompts.
Non-academic use of polling
Note that Vevox is only for teaching and learning. We recommend staff use our equivalent polling systems:
- Microsoft Forms, which seamlessly integrates with PowerPoint for live polls, quizzes, or survyes
- LimeSurvey
Cost
There is no cost to instructors or students.
Availability
This service is available at all times on campus using 91丝瓜视频鈥檚 Wi-Fi.
The service is available 24 X 7, except during planned maintenance or outages, which will be posted on the IT Services website.

Best practices & policies
