Important: 91丝瓜视频's IT Services equipment loans will be reduced.
Starting August 18 2025, only a limited selection of equipment - laptops, and wireless microphones for teaching in selected classrooms and auditoriums听- will remain available. More information.

Who can use it
91丝瓜视频 faculty, staff, and currently registered students can borrow or rent equipment for 91丝瓜视频 related and non-commercial purposes.
How to request & access the service
Reserve the equipment at least two business days in advance using the form. Requests are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
For the Macdonald campus: a technician will reach out to you after receiving your request to book an appointment. Please, do not go to the Equipment loan office without an appointment as technicians are often on the go across campus.
Your 91丝瓜视频 ID card is required. We reserve the right to limit the quantity of equipment you borrow.

Downtown campus - Equipment Loans
680 Sherbrooke West, Room 284 (second floor, turn right before the elevators)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 2:15 pm to 4:30 pm.
Macdonald campus - Equipment Loans
Pick-up your equipment (By appointment only): Laird Hall, Room LH-199A
Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon) and 2pm to 4pm.

Cost
Equipment is provided free of charge, however repair or replacement costs will be charged for damaged equipment or missing items. Late equipment returns will be recorded and repeated incidences will affect your ability to borrow equipment in the future.

Can I borrow a laptop?
Laptops can be borrowed. Please consult on the subject.
What are the equipment loan conditions?
- All borrowers must be able to show proof of affiliation with the University. (i.e. valid 91丝瓜视频 ID card, payroll stub, hospital ID, etc.)
- The University does not carry insurance on equipment, so clients are responsible for borrowed equipment.
- Fines are imposed for late return of equipment.
- IT Services reserves the right to limit the quantity of equipment loaned, and to limit services and loan times for equipment and facilities.
Best practices & policies
- Since requests are processed as received, it is highly recommended that you make a reservation in advance.
- Replacement/repair costs may be charged if rentals are returned in poor operating condition. There is a replacement charge for items that have been lost or not returned.听
