91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓÆµ Cares: Early Prevention Strategies, Research and Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease

Simon Ducharme, MD, FRCPC, is a neuropsychiatrist and a clinician-scientist at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute and The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital). He specializes in frontotemporal dementia and the interface between psychiatric disorders and dementia.

Join Dr. Simon Ducharme for an informative webinar on the latest advances in care and research on Alzheimer's disease. This session will review the most effective evidence-based strategies to help reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease, including lifestyle and health-related prevention measures. Dr. Ducharme will also discuss the benefits and limitations of current treatments available today, including the most recent updates following Health Canada approval of new therapies, and explore promising avenues in research. In addition, participants will learn about a research study designed for individuals who may be at risk for Alzheimer’s disease.
