 ojects: Importance of engaging men and boys to prevent and address gender-
 based violence\n\nEngaging men and boys as allies and co-beneficiaries of 
 advancing gender equality and gender-based violence (GBV) prevention is a 
 priority in Canada and a key action for Women and Gender Equality Canada (
 WAGE). Research emphasizes that the involvement of men and boys as allies 
 is key to preventing and ending GBV.\n\nThe Programs Division of WAGE has 
 funded several projects on the importance of engaging men and boys to prev
 ent and address GBV.\n\nThis event will highlight three of these funded pr
 ojects:\n\n\n	The Pauktuutit project will be presented by Nadia Noor\, Mana
 ger\, Violence & Abuse Prevention\, Justice.\n	The Coopération Intégration 
 Canada (CICAN) project will be presented by Nabila Fathi\, Program and Vol
 unteer Coordinator.\n	The 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ project will be presented by Dr
 . Claudia Mitchell\, Project Director and Distinguished James 91Ë¿¹ÏÊÓƵ Profe
 ssor in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education.\n\n\nThe presen
