Professor Andrea Harrington:听
Professor Andrea Harrington is the Primary Investigator for the project on Multilingual Interpretation of the OST Project.听She is the current Co-Director of the 91丝瓜视频 Institute of Air and Space Law (IASL). Professor Harrington has conducted extensive research in international space law and is an elected Director of the International Institute of Space Law (IISL). Additionally, she has conducted ambitious projects with consistent success, such as the creation of separate graduate-level professional military education programs for the US Space Force, which required statutory interpretation, leadership, and collaboration to secure approvals across multiple levels of the Department of Defence, earning her a citation for Meritorious Civilian Service in 2023. She will write the concluding chapter of the book, which summarises the findings, notes significant issues where found, and recommends a range of harmonised interpretations that can be used to honour the authentic language versions. She will also act as Editor of the Volume.

Professor Vincent Correia is the co-lead of the project. Professor Correia has an extensive background in research related to Public International Law. Notably, he has produced scholarship in English, French, and Spanish. Professor Correia will analyse the French and English versions to identify discrepancies, similarities, and contradictions, and will draft a chapter of the book that enumerates the findings and interprets the dispositions in both languages. Prof. Correia will also oversee the direction of the Montreal workshop to discuss and refine the preliminary findings of the French-English comparison. This bilingual focus group will capitalise on the bilingual working nature of the city.听
Martina Elia Vitoloni
Martina Elia Vitoloni is a Doctoral Candidate at 91丝瓜视频 and Chair of the Research Group on Air and Space Law of Latin America. A licensed Argentine attorney, she holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (Argentina) and a Master's degree from the IASL. Ms Elia Vitoloni will lead the Spanish language work and serve as co-Editor of the book.

Recipient of the IISL Diederiks-Verschoor Award (2012) and of the Brazilian Honour of Merit in Space Medal (2025).
Mirette Elgawahry
Mirette Elgawahry is a Doctoral Candidate at 91丝瓜视频 and Assistant Lecturer of Public International Law at the Faculty of Law, Mansoura University in Egypt. Building on this foundation, her doctoral research examines the legal and regulatory frameworks governing space activities in the Arab world, including the interaction between international law and Islamic legal traditions.She will lead the Arabic language work.
Professor Antonia Eliason听
Professor Antonia Eliason is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Mississippi School of Law. Professor Eliason has a background in international space law, colonialism, and racial capitalism. She will set the stage for treaty interpretation in multiple languages and its relationship to specific issues in space governance (history and context). Her chapter includes a socio-legal approach with post-colonial analysis addressing the problematic nature of legal instruments applied in a single language, where a power imbalance often exists. This chapter will also introduce the concept of constructivism as an international relations theory, presenting how the construct of language influences the practice of states.
Professor听Di Mei
Professor Di Mei听is a specialist in international space law and an Assistant Professor at the Law School of Shenzhen University in China. He will lead the Chinese language work.
Elina Morozova
Elina Morozova, the Executive Director of Intersputnik International Organisation of Space Communications and a member of the Board of Directors of the IISL. She will lead the Russian language work.
Professor Charles Stotler
听
Professor Charles Stotler, director of the Mississippi School of Law Centre for Air and Space Law, will provide a deep analysis of the customary international law听governing treaty authentication in multiple languages听and how that law has been applied under the codification provided in the VCLT. His chapter will address how disputes about space activities under the OST may be resolved in the case of differing interpretations of two authentic language versions.
