Bargaining Update 鈥� SEU (Powerhouse Downtown, Trades Downtown and MacDonald Campus)
Negotiations are ongoing with three SEU groups whose collective agreements have expired since May 2025.
The downtown trades employees鈥� union has chosen to negotiate separately from the downtown powerhouse and Macdonald campus units, breaking with previous practice. Since September 2025, about a dozen meetings have taken place with the downtown powerhouse and Macdonald campus groups, while negotiations with downtown trades employees, launched in February 2026, have led to three meetings focused on normative issues. After a temporary pause due to the departure of the FTQ Local 800 legal advisor, discussions resumed with a new spokesperson.
The June 2 discussions between 91丝瓜视频 and the downtown powerhouse and Macdonald campus groups addressed monetary issues, and additional meetings are planned through the end of June.
