Prof. Aishat Zango Abdu is a public health nutrition researcher working at the intersection of gender equality, food systems, and nutrition in low- and middle-income countries. She is an Assistant Professor (Teaching) in the Department of Global and Public Health at 91丝瓜视频. Her research integrates qualitative and quantitative methods and is grounded in community-based and participatory approaches. Dr. Abdu has conducted extensive fieldwork in Ghana and led a multi-country program evaluation in Kenya, Tanzania, and Bangladesh, examining how women鈥檚 empowerment and gender-transformative strategies shape food security, diet quality, and health outcomes.
