He is a long-standing associate with the Kahnawake Schools Diabetes Prevention Program.\n\nRichard Budgell\, Labra dor Inuk\, developed the first Canadian graduate course on Inuit health. W ith over 30 years of public service in Indigenous health\, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal and now focuses on projects su ch as Inuit cultural safety and urban Inuit health.\n\nMegan Légaré is a s econd year PhD student in the Family Medicine and Primary Care Program of Kanien’keha:ka and European settler heritage.
