 ilable here!\n	Apply today!\n\nThe William and Rhea Seath Awards (WRSAs) ha
 ve been made possible thanks to the generosity of Faculty of Engineering a
 lumnus\, the late Mr. William Seath (B.Eng. 1952). These awards support Mc
 Gill University Faculty of Engineering tenure-track professors and their g
 raduate students by enabling them to accelerate their technology that is r
 eported as an invention but needs further validation prior to commercializ
 ation.\n\nUp to two equal awards of $25\,000 for projects up to 12 months 
 is given as part of this annual competition. They are reviewed by the McGi
 ll Engine Director and awarded by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering b
 ased on the recommendation of a committee composed of faculty\, industry a
 nd alumni members. Recipients use the grant to further develop their techn
 ologies in conjunction with their commercialization plan. Examples of elig
 ible support activities: development\, testing\, prototype construction\, 
 personnel costs (stipends\, salaries & benefits).\n\nProgram Objectives\n
 \n\n	Validate early stage technologies\n	Advance the invention's Technology 
 Readiness Level\n	Accelerate the technology’s commercialization and develop
 ment plan - achieve product-market fit faster\n	Further develop the researc
 h to strengthen eligibility for additional funding\n	Research team works cl
 osely with the assigned Ronald Chwang Entrepreneurs-in-Residence\, gaining
  from their experience\, knowledge\, and industry connections\n\n
