 \n\nAbstract\n\nThis thesis investigates hidden psychological states that 
 influence user behavior on digital platforms. Utilizing the stimulus-organ
 ism-response (SOR) framework\, the proposal comprises three interconnected
  studies: the first paper examines how superior and inferior psychological
  states\, induced by social traits and technology shock\, affect online in
 teractions\; the second paper delves into users’ preview-induced expectati
 on and overall satisfaction\, and explores how the transition between thes
 e states affect user ratings\; and the third paper analyzes users’ back-an
 d-forth transitions between various psychological states under their brows
 ing behaviors\, and how these transitions are affected by external factors
 . By uncovering these unobservable states and integrating them with observ
 able traits\, the research offers practical insights for enhancing user sa
 tisfaction and engagement through improved platform design\, personalized 
 user experiences\, and optimized business outcomes.\n
