Attendees will learn how to i mport code from other modules and packages to take advantage of the existi ng Python ecosystem. After seeing how to access packages\, we will explore popular data analysis packages. We will see how to use NumPy to perform o perations on large data arrays and how to use Matplotlib to generate clear data visualisations. Finally\, we will discuss how to approach a new\, un familiar package and learn how to use it.By the end of this workshop\, par ticipants will be able to:Import code from existing modules and packages.U se NumPy to easily process multidimensional data.Use Matplotlib to generat e different types of plots to visualise data.Approach a new package and ex plore its documentation and examples.Pre-requisites:Basic knowledge of Pyt hon is required. Attendees should be comfortable with control flow\, basic data types and calling functions. To fully participate in the exercises i n this workshop\, attendees should have a working Python installation and either Jupyter Lab or another IDE that can open Jupyter notebooks\, such a s Microsoft Visual Studio Code. Alternatively\, examples can be run in Goo gle Colab online (requires a Google account).
